What type of personal information be collected?

For individual accounts you will be asked to provide an email address. Analytics information will be collected from the website page for user engagement like (page visited, length of stay on a page) and device information. Analytics will not be used to collect information from the application i.e., the questionnaire. This goes in line with the NeuRA privacy policy. The information about you will be stored in a de-identified format on NeuRA secure server. Your assessment responses will be assigned a unique code that can be linked to your personal details. Your personal details will be stored separately to your assessment responses and will be protected from linking by strict role-based access privileges. Only staff with the highest level of accesses will be able to link your assessment responses. All data will be stored in line with the information provided in the ‘Participant Information Sheet and Consent form’ you signed if you consent to participate in the research study. Statement about temporary data use

In order to calculate the risk score, we will need temporary access to the anonymised survey responses in your web browser. This data will, for a brief moment, be sent to our servers to calculate the response to send back to you. After that the data is erased and is in no way accessible by any staff member.

Information we collect through cookies

Cookies are small pieces of data, stored in text files, that are stored on your computer or other device when websites are loaded in a browser. We have used them for functional reasons – to enable a personalised experience for both visitors and registered users. We have only used cookies that are strictly necessary. These are the cookies that are essential for ‘cogdrisk.neura.edu.au’ to perform basic functions. These include those required to allow registered users to authenticate and perform account related functions. We do not collect user’s personal data using cookies, nor do we pass them on to any third parties. Any cookies not expired at the end of the browser session are only retained for the end user’s convenience (e.g., login/screen name) and are not used for tracking purposes.
